The beauty of Unapologetically First—A Women’s Well-being and Leadership Retreat is the magic that happens in the in between.

Designed with space to reset the nervous system, allowing for abundance and synchronicity to embrace opportunity and unlock your next level.

  • It’s exceedingly rare to find a space that balances elite professional achievement with total personal warmth, but Unapologetically First does just that. Here, professional titles take a backseat to real human connection, leading to instant vulnerability and lifelong friendships. It’s an invaluable gift for any woman ready to prioritize herself, surround herself with kindred spirits, and completely reframe what it means to thrive - both in work and in life.

  • The Unapologetically First Women's Leadership retreat at the Ranch came at exactly the right moment for me. As a physician and founder building my own practice and brand, it's easy to keep pouring energy outward and never pause to examine the mindset driving it all. This retreat did that. It pushed me to confront the quiet self-doubt I didn't even realize was shaping my decisions, and I left with a real shift in how I show up- more decisive, more confident, and far less apologetic about taking up space as a leader. I came home not just inspired, but genuinely changed.

  • First of its kind! I do a ton of similar work related events and private retreats/meetings. This was the most unapologetic, authentic and relaxing one yet. There was no pretense, everyone was open and there was flexibility to do what you want or need. Very much appreciated it (and you Danielle!) for encouraging me to take this leap. Jazzed and looking forward to keeping it going.

  • This was the most transformative weekend I’ve experienced. Through powerful self-discovery work and deep connection with an incredible group of women, I finally reconnected with who I truly am. I left feeling free—free to be myself, to prioritize my own wellbeing without guilt or shame. After years of trying to find this on my own, this retreat gave me the space, tools, and support to finally get there.

  • The Unapologetically First Retreat was truly exceptional. The combination of an incredible group of women, meaningful conversations, thoughtful programming, and genuine connection made it unlike any other executive retreat I’ve attended. I walked away energized, inspired, and with new perspectives I know I’ll carry into both my leadership and my business. I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of the first retreat, and I would absolutely do it again.

  • The Unapologetically First Retreat was a truly transformative experience. Danielle created a powerful space for ambitious, accomplished women to step away from the demands of their professional and personal lives in order to pause, reflect, and prioritize ourselves without guilt. The retreat was thoughtfully curated, blending wellness, reflection, leadership development, meaningful connection, and actionable strategies that I will continue to carry forward. I walked away inspired with valuable insights, genuine connections with extraordinary women, and a renewed commitment to my own wellness. Danielle’s passion, authenticity, and commitment to helping women thrive are evident in every aspect of the experience. I am grateful to have been part of it and would encourage any woman leader looking to invest in herself to attend.

  • This program checked every. single. box. Candidly, I didn't think that was possible, but apparently it is. The concept of “wellness” as professional competency sounds simple – but it’s actually revolutionary, and it turns the way we’ve been taught to approach the intersection between our personal and professional lives on its head. The retreat was by far the best networking event I have ever attended. It was also by far the most relaxing and reflective three days I can recall in recent memory, and provided a safe space to relax, recharge, and make genuine connections. I feel extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to meet this group of amazing professionals, each of whom showed up as their authentic selves and were open to learning more about what it truly means to put yourself “unapologetically” first. By disrupting traditional narratives around professional success and self-care and acknowledging that these concepts are not mutually exclusive, and are instead inextricably intertwined, we have the ability to unlock greater success and fulfillment in our personal and professional lives.

  • Thank you for such a magical weekend. I felt truly honored to be included among such an esteemed group of women. I came in with no expectations—just looking for community and a break from a year of relentless burnout—and left having reconnected with myself and rediscovered my creativity. The camaraderie, friendships, serendipity, and nourishment (of mind and body) gave me exactly what I didn't know I needed. From the gifts to the food to the pampering, every detail felt indulgent in the best possible way. I'm so grateful for the experience.

  • From the first afternoon, there was a kind of ease I didn't know I was craving-- pilates, yoga, breathwork, quiet moments in the sun, a massage (or two), an actual nap, and time with women who were building real things and weren't afraid to say so out loud. This is who Danielle is and the kind of women she draws in-- the kind who show up fully and root for each other. The leadership workshops reshaped how I think about wellness as a professional competency. It is not a luxury to tap into when you have a quick moment. It is a genuine part of who you are, how you show up, and how you lead. For the first time in a long time, I was able to rest and take a breath, and reset myself surrounded by women who reminded me what it was like to want more for myself.

  • I laughed. I cried. I experienced deep calm and flashes of creativity. It is rare in this world to find a group of highly accomplished women who are intellectually curious, energized about their goals, and also genuinely supportive and deeply kind. Conversations went deep and transcended stage of life and professional background. The profound sense of community allowed me to be vulnerable and honest in a way that cultivates lasting change. I reconnected with the things that matter and let go of the things that don't. Thank you!

  • To be surrounded by awesome women and taking the time to pause and reflect helped me to tap into my inner true self. The timing could not have been more perfect as I start my new role as a CPO of a small publicly traded company.
